Tonight I was finally able to hit my 10k mark. To be more precise, I am at exactly 10,598. Yeah yeah yeah, I’m behind where I should be, but I was able to make my goal. I’m actually really excited for this novel and how I have to meet a word count pretty much everyday (or suffer the consequences) is helping me keep a decent flow so far.
And I was on a huge roll tonight. If it wasn’t getting so late, and if I haven’t been so completely tired this past week, I’d stay up longer to keep writing.
Tomorrow, I’m looking forward to getting into this same groove again, and maybe even get back to being ahead of the word count. At least I don’t have to worry about cooking dinner tomorrow, thanks to making lasagna
Well I’m bushed. Time to hit the sack.
